I graduated in May 08, and enrolled in a bachelors' degree program that Fall at Empire State College. Between that Fall and this Spring's semester, things IRL sorta fell apart.
The room-mates from hell finally moved out, followed by my having asthmatic bronchitis, then mid-terms, and then my last remaining aunt being diagnosed with breast cancer...then my art mentor passed away from lung cancer, and one of my younger friends has been diagnosed with the same thing...Oh, yeah...and I am still unemployed...
I am getting back on track, and if all my studies fall in to line, then I shall have my degree in December 2010. Then the real job search will start, as I wish to teach history at High School level while pursuing a Masters in Teaching for college level classes.
This will be the first weekend that I will be able to attend Sterling this season, so I am looking forward to it, especially since the weather is supposed to be perfect. I have good friends among the performers and am attending with more good friends. Other than that my only plan is to have a grand time and get myself a Woodchuck Cider at the Bad Dog Tavern and listen to Wolgemut!
Enough for now, but it's good to be back :)
Now, back to the sewing....

I hope this finds you safe, warm, and happy, during the holidays. Have a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year!
